Unveiling the Exciting 2023 Release Wave 2 Plans for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform

Microsoft's 2023 release wave 2 plans for Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform are set to introduce a myriad of new features. These updates, scheduled for release from October 2023 through March 2024, demonstrate a continued commitment to leveraging AI for informed decision-making, automating tasks and processes, and offering low-code solutions for user-friendly development.

For instance, the early access period starting July 31, 2023, will allow customers and partners to validate the latest features in a non-production environment. This initiative emphasizes Microsoft's dedication to user empowerment and streamlined operations across various applications.

In Dynamics 365 Marketing, businesses can look forward to creating highly personalized experiences for their customers, with updates planned for September 2023. Similarly, the release wave 2 plan also brings improvements to user experiences in Dynamics 365 Business Central, assisting users in entering, updating, and correcting data.

The Dynamics 365 suite, including Field Service, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Project Operations, Human Resources, and Commerce, is set to receive enhancements. While specifics about these updates are yet to be fully disclosed, Microsoft assures that they will enable a more collaborative, efficient, and personalized experience in digital transformation for businesses and organization partners.

Microsoft's 2023 release wave 2 plans reflect the company's commitment to continuous innovation and user-centric design. With these updates, Microsoft continues to redefine the landscape of digital business solutions.

Highlights of the Power Platform Wave:

Power Apps is set to enhance developer productivity by expanding the use of Copilot, an AI-assisted tool that brings natural language capabilities to all users and provides insights to administrators. It aims to offer modern controls and rich collaborative experiences to users while also improving deployment and governance support to facilitate low-code enablement across organizations.

Power Pages is making significant progress in harnessing the Copilot maker experience to simplify site building. Managed environments will incorporate Power Pages capabilities for maker usage and onboarding. With regards to data, there will be provisions to effortlessly connect to existing data. Low-code makers will have the opportunity to collaborate and detect co-presence.

Power Automate is striving to simplify the process of building new flows by using natural language across cloud flows and desktop flows. It's also enhancing process mining to expedite the creation of automation and authoring experiences. Furthermore, Microsoft is introducing a unified activity view and more comprehensive notifications on capabilities across the product to better manage work at scale.

Power Virtual Agents will roll out several new features, including Multi-Lingual bot support, Generative Answers and Actions, Standalone interactive voice response (IVR) and IVR integration with Dynamics 365 Customer Service, and integration with the Conversational Language Understanding service.
